Research Notes

from Yulach's library (Group 3)

Immediately after the first joint meeting, Group Three visited Yulach and obtained the use of his library to research questions revolving around Azazel, the galadiir, and the legend on the scroll.

What is the galadiir?
A legendary artifact; the galadiir is a stone created by the three enemies of Azazel and imbued with magical power. Legend says the galadiir was used to imprison Azazel under a mountain for all eternity.
Who created the galadiir?
The galadiir was created by Ramiel, Gadreel, and Uriel, the offspring of Azazel who became his enemies.
How can the galadiir be recharged?
(No information was found.)
Where is Dudael?
The mountain called Dudael lies at the heart of the Great Sea.
What is Azazel
Azazel is the most famous of the Timeless Ones, an ancient and powerful race believed to be the ancestors of the modern aboleths.
What powers does Azazel have?
The powers of the Timeless Ones are not documented. It is believed that the aboleths are descended from the Timeless Ones, so likely the Timeless Ones would have similar but more potent abilities.
What symbols are associated with Azazel?
There is no record of any particular symbol or symbols used by Azazel.

The party also looked for any notes or journals that Castanamir may have left behind, but found nothing.
